The Serles cable cars are only around 700–800 meters away and can be easily reached in about a ten-minute walk. The popular natural toboggan run passes almost directly by the house – perfect for anyone who wants to finish their ride almost right at the front door. Ski tourers can also start their routes straight from the house into the surrounding mountains. In summer, the Serles area impresses as a diverse hiking and leisure destination: panoramic mountain trails, relaxed family hikes, playgrounds, themed trails, and the summer toboggan run make the region a versatile excursion area for young and old alike. Hikes can start directly from the house without needing to use a car. The village center of Mieders, with a supermarket, café, and several restaurants, is only about 1 km away and can be reached within a few minutes.
